About Us
Where Every Project Starts with One Idea
A creative home built in 2024 for makers, dreamers, and anyone who has ever thought, “I could make that.”
Our Story: It All Started with One Craft
JustOneCraft was born in 2024 from a single, honest realization: the internet is full of beautiful finished projects, but very few places actually walk you through the messy, joyful, occasionally chaotic process of making them.
We started as a small team of passionate makers β knitters, woodworkers, paper folders, resin pourers β who believed that creative confidence comes from doing, not just watching. We built JustOneCraft to be the kind of guide we always wished we had.
Since launching, we’ve grown into a warm, diverse community of crafters at every level, united by one simple belief: the best craft is the one you actually start.
Key Milestones:
- π 2024 β JustOneCraft launches with our first 50 beginner-friendly project guides
- π 2024 β Community forum opens; 1,000 makers join in the first month
- πΈ 2025 β Expanded to 12 craft categories, from macramΓ© to metalwork
“We didn’t want to be an inspiration account. We wanted to be the reason someone picks up a needle for the first time.”
Our Core Values
π± Anyone Can Create Talent isn’t born β it’s practiced. We make every guide accessible, regardless of experience or budget.
β¨ Honest Making We show the mistakes alongside the masterpieces. Real crafting is imperfect, and that’s what makes it beautiful.
π€ Community Over Competition Every maker lifts others. We celebrate sharing skills, not hoarding them.
πΏ Mindful Crafting We champion sustainable materials, upcycling, and slow making over throwaway trends.
Meet Our Editorial Team
Every guide on JustOneCraft is reviewed, tested, and shaped by real makers who care deeply about accuracy, clarity, and keeping the joy alive in every step.
Evelyn Ashford β Senior Content Editor

Evelyn brings eight years of textile arts and DIY blogging experience to JustOneCraft. She’s written for three national craft publications and has a gift for translating complex techniques into steps that genuinely make sense the first time you read them. Her editorial philosophy is simple: if a beginner can’t follow it, it isn’t finished yet.
“The best tutorial is the one that makes you feel brave enough to start.”
Clark Miller β Lead Projects Editor

Clark is a self-taught woodworker and mixed-media artist who discovered crafting as a form of meditation during a career change in 2019. He went on to teach community craft workshops before joining JustOneCraft, where he now oversees our project library across 12 categories. Daniel believes that crafting is as much about the process as the outcome.
“Every project teaches you something. The trick is to enjoy the lesson.”
What Makes Us Different
There’s no shortage of craft content online. What’s rare is content that respects your time, meets you where you are, and actually gets you to the finish line.
ποΈ Every guide is skill-tagged Filter by experience level β beginner, intermediate, or adventurous β so you’re never in over your head.
β±οΈ Real time estimates We time every project ourselves. No more “easy weekend crafts” that take three weekends.
π¬ A community that answers back Stuck halfway through a project? Our forums are active, friendly, and full of makers who’ve been exactly where you are.
β»οΈ Budget & eco-friendly options Every project includes a “make it cheaper” or “make it greener” tip, because creativity shouldn’t cost the earth.
Words from Our Community
“I’d tried learning macramΓ© three times before JustOneCraft. The guides here actually made me feel like I couldn’t fail β and I finished my first wall hanging in a weekend.” β Amara K., Lagos
“As a dad trying to do crafts with my kids, I needed simple, fun, and not-too-messy. JustOneCraft delivers every time. It’s our Saturday morning ritual now.” β Tom W., Manchester
“I appreciate that they show when things go wrong. It made me so much less afraid to try. My resin trays are far from perfect but I’m genuinely proud of them.” β Priya S., Bangalore
Crafting for Good: The One Craft, One Kit Initiative
For every 100 project guides published on JustOneCraft, we donate a craft starter kit to a youth community program. We also partner with local maker spaces to offer free beginner workshops, because we believe creative skills should be accessible to everyone β not just those who can afford classes.
Looking Forward
We’re just getting started. Here’s what’s coming:

- π Monthly Craft Challenges β Community events where makers share their take on a shared theme
